AI and Brainrot
AI and Brainrot
I think every form of AI has been carefully crafted to be addictive. From video and image creation, to chatbot conversations, to coding harnesses.
They remind me of video games, with nice tight dopamine loops. With as little friction as possible. Just enter more content into the input box and bam, instant gratification. You get back research for your thing. You create a new feature in your totally will ship soon software. You get a pleasant response back. It's all wired to create compulsion loops.
Our only hope is that the economics don't actually work out. That they're only going to get more expensive to the point where only true value exchange will be left. That they're burning money too quickly to ever pay investors back.
I want whoever reads this to realise that the only true thing that AI is good at, is rotting brains. That's the takeaway.
